Stop the Presses

I may just have an announcement to make. It's still tentative, but...I think I like cantaloupe. What I once merely endured for the sake of my health and because they sell them two for a dollar at the City Market, I now enjoy.

This is a big step forward for me. I hope someday to be able to say the same, tentatively at least, about salmon.

Nothing else to see here; you may now return to your usual activities.

Amazing. I don't know how you do it.

I admire you. I, too, endure the cantaloupe. Before reading your post, I didn't understand how people could really like it, but now I might be starting to think that it's an acquired taste. Do you think it will move from tentative liking to confirmed liking? Do you think you'll ever be in lerrrrv with cantaloupe?

Shiz, I don't know how I do it either, except that it's cheap and I feel obligated to eat it once I've bought it. I've had to teach myself to like a great many foods, actually, so it's nothing new.

Dawn, it may well be an acquired taste for some of us. I don't know that I'll ever be in lerrrrv with cantaloupe, but I think I'll move to definite liking soon.

DIS.GUST.ING! hate the canteloupe. hate, hate when it is served as a dessert! seriously. what happened to chocolate, chocolate and more chocolate?!
mary, i have to say that i don't agree with the road you are going down. i just can't support your stinky, pale, orange decision. next you'll be telling me that you also now like the devil's other favorite: celery.
